Rosa Chavez , age 67 of Grand Forks, North Dakota, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at home.

Rosa was born in Crystal City, Texas in 1956 to Dolares and Tiburcio Chavez. She grew up in Crystal City before moving to San Antonio, Texas, where she stayed until settling in her forever home in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

The majority of Rosa's life has been spent with lots of laughs, great food, and a couple beers with her friends and family. She could always brighten up a room.

She is survived by Sandra Castro, Jesse (Michelle) Chavez, and grand pup Medora.

MEMORIAL SERVICE is 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Avenue NW, East Grand Forks, Minnesota, with VISITATION one hour prior to services.
