Rosemary "Rosie"
Cayler
January 10, 1937 — March 21, 2022
East Grand Forks
Rosemary "Rosie" Cayler, age 85 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston, MN.
Rosemary Cayler was born on January 10, 1937 in Fisher, MN the daughter of William and Eliza (Ruby) Yanish. Rosie grew up and attended school in the East Grand Forks, MN area. On May 15, 1971 she was united in marriage to Wayne Cayler in Watertown, SD. She worked for American Crystal Sugar Company, University of North Dakota and EGF Schools.
Rosie had a beautiful soul, a smile that could light up a room and a heart of gold. She was blessed with a large and loving family who cherished their times with her. Before dementia stole everything from Rosie she enjoyed traveling, camping, puzzles, baking, gardening, and having get togethers with her sisters. Her most favorite place to be was at home preparing for the next family gathering where she could be with her children and grandchildren. Mom cooked and baked the most delicious food and always welcomed the little hands to help her. One thing for sure is you never left her home hungry. Being a wife, mother and Grandma was the joy of her life and as each child came along and then as great grandchildren came you could see her heart grow bigger with love. Rosie was the best we could have ever been blessed with and our hearts are broken that we no longer have you here with us but all your unconditional love and memories we made here on earth will never be as much as we will have when we meet again someday in heaven. Until then we will hold you close to our hearts. We love you and thank you for being the beautiful soul you were.
Family members who survive Rosie include here husband Wayne Cayler of East Grand forks, MN; children, Thomas (Sherry) Anderson of Cushing, MN, Anthony (Sandy) Anderson of East Grand Forks, MN, Mike Anderson of East Grand Forks, MN and Chad Cayler of Ardoch, ND; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mike (Billie) Yanish of Grand Forks, ND, Richard (Judy) Yanish of East Grand Forks, MN, Bernice Nokelby of East Grand Forks, MN and Shirley Boushee of East Grand Forks, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leonard, Art, Joseph Yanish and sisters, Clara Hanson and Dorothy Bushey.
We would like to thank our family and friends for all the love and support during this difficult time. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her!
