Roxanne Bour, 65, of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Villa St. Vincent of Crookston.

Roxanne Markus was born July 21, 1957 in St. Paul, MN to John and Olive (Jakes) Markus. She grew up in the Twin Cities and attended school in Hastings, MN graduating in 1975. She married Jean Bour, Sr. and they had three children. In 2018, she moved to Grand Forks to be closer to her daughter Mary and grandson Mason and shortly after, granddaughter Malia.

Roxanne is survived by her daughter Mary Martinson of Grand Forks; grandchildren Mason and Malia Martinson; sons Jean Bour, Jr. (Nicole) of Pine City, MN and Curtis Bour of St. Paul; siblings John Markus of MN, Jimmy (Trudy) Markus of St. Paul, Pat (Gerald) Kostohryz of Cambridge, MN; and special friend Angela Dudley and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Olive Markus, sister Sandra Elliott, her former husband Jean Bour, Sr. and sister-in-law Pat Markus, and many other friends and family.

CEMETERY: Roxanne will be laid to rest with her parents at Roselawn Cemetery, Roseville, MN at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
