Rudeen Pladson, 77, of Grand Forks, ND passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at her home.

Rudeen Elaine Jacobson was born March 16, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Albert and Helen Kubash Jacobson. She grew up in Grand Forks and attended Central High School. On September 25, 1965 Rudeen married Toby Pladson at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in East Grand Forks, MN. Rudeen worked in potatoes and did daycare in her home while her children were young before starting her own business Rudeen's Novelties.

Rudeen is survived by her three children, Cheryl Pladson, Renae (Glen) Pladson, and Corey Pladson all of Grand Forks; grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Tiauna, Madison, Abigail, and Cadence Pladson; great-grandchildren, Mariah Rodriguez, Desmin Smith, Jacob, Jayce, and Jayda Pladson; great-great grandson, Ezra Fisher; and sister, Vera Ward of Aneta, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Helen; husband, Toby; sisters, Irene (Dan) Johnson and DeeDee Jacobson; and brothers, Darwin, Carlin, and Eldon Jacobson.

FUNERAL: 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1515 5th Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721.

VISITATION: One hour before services at the church.

INTERMENT:  Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND
