Ruth Kalenze, 71, of Albert Lea, MN, died Monday, September 14, 2020, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN. Her always kind, generous, hard-working, and resilient spirit touched all who knew her.

Ruth was born November 28, 1948, in Grand Forks, ND, to Aime and Jeanne (Derouin) LeBlanc.  She attended St. James High School and Aakers Business College in Grand Forks. She married Leslie Kalenze in East Grand Forks, MN, on September 26, 1969, and she worked at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine from 1971-1999. After relocating to Henderson, NV, she worked as the Residency Coordinator for the University of Nevada's School of Medicine (1999-2004) and as Executive Assistant to the Dean at Touro University's College of Osteopathic Medicine (2004-2016).

She is survived by her husband Leslie of Albert Lea, MN, 2 sons Eric of St. Paul, MN, and Ethan of Las Vegas, NV, 3 grandchildren, 3 sisters Karen Allard, of Grand Forks, Janet Pelzl of Omaha, NE, and Lisa Svejkovsky of Grand Forks.
