Ryan Tyrrell, age 33, of Duluth, MN, died Friday, March 29, 2019, in Duluth, MN, from natural causes.

Ryan Tyrrell was born on September 29, 1985, at United Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Bill and Mary (Poehler) Tyrrell. Ryan grew up in Grand Forks and enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, and playing cards, along with being with his friends. He attended Red River High School and graduated with the Class of 2004. After graduation he was employed with McKinnon Co. in Grand Forks, ND. In 2011 he moved to Duluth, MN, and was employed by Expanding Horizons as a supervisor assistant for the house residents, who he deeply cared about. The friends he made in Duluth made him fall in love with the city. To this day, those friends remain very special to Ryan and his family. Ryan was truly one of a kind and was a caring, loyal, and big hearted person with a huge heart who put everyone else's interests above his own. Ryan will be dearly missed by so many. May he rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Ryan is survived by his father, Bill Tyrrell and a sister, Brittany Tyrrell, both of Grand Forks, ND, along with numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Helen Poehler and Bill and Esther Tyrrell, and his mother, Mary, in 2010.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Sharon Lutheran Church, 1720 20 ^th St. S., Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation :   Friday, April 5, 2019 from 5-7 PM with a 6:30 Prayer service at Sharon Lutheran Church, Grand Forks, ND and 1 hour before services at the church.

Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery ~ Grand Forks, ND in the spring
