Shandi Holtman died peacefully in her home on August 3rd, 2025, in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Shandi Marie Holtman (Sletten) was born on June 29th, 1990 to David Sletten and Tracy Timmons in Biloxi, Mississippi. She grew up on air force bases, traveling throughout her childhood. She spent time in Mississippi, California, Texas, and North Dakota. After graduating high school, Shandi went to college to become a nurse. She worked as a nurse in Texas and attended school for as long as she was able.

Shandi loved her family and most enjoyed being with them. On September 19, 2020, she married Richard Holtman, whom she loved dearly in the years they were together. She loved to spend time with her son, David, visiting National Parks, and spending time together at home. She also loved her dog, Harley Quinn, who accompanied her for years.

Shandi is survived by her husband, Richard; her son, David; her mother, Tracy; her step-mothers, Kelly and Josie; her brothers, Bryce, Robert, Leif, Liam, Jared; her sister, Victoria; and many aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her father, David; and her brother, Bradford.
