Shirley A. Filson, 76, of Aneta, ND died Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Shirley Filson was born September 21, 1945 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Oliver and Martha (Anderson) Olson.  Shirley grew up in Grand Forks and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School.  Following her high school graduation, she attended the University of North Dakota and Aakers Business College.  On August 12, 1967 she was united in marriage to Robert Filson in Grand Forks, ND.  She worked for United Hospital and then Altru Hospital before retiring in 2003.  Shirley also worked for NDHC of Northwood, ND

She is survived by her husband Robert, of Aneta, ND; son Paul (Kim) Filson of Grand Forks, ND and 2 grandchildren, Matt and Brianna Filson.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Services: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Northwood Evangelical Lutheran Church, 307 2 ^nd Ave, Northwood, ND.

Visitation: 1 hour before services at the church.
