Steven Janisch , age 50 of Erskine, Minnesota, passed away due to natural causes on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at RiverView Health in Crookston.

Steve was born on May 26, 1973 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota to parents, Rodney Janisch and Jeanne Manning. He graduated high school from Neosho, Missouri in 1992. He was a hard laborer who worked at various jobs before landing at New Flyer of America - Crookston.

Steve loved hunting and his music. He was a student of the universe who loved astronomy, the natural world and all the forces within. Most of all, Steve loved spending time with his family: being a father was his greatest joy and he always made time for his kids.

Steve is survived by his wife, Tracey; his children, Dalton, Julian, Caralina, Santiago, and Gabriel; his parents, Rodney Janisch and Jeanne Hackett; his siblings; and many other relatives.

VISITATION is from 5:00pm – 6:30pm, with a MEMORIAL SERVICE at 6:30pm, on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Avenue NW, East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
