Tony W. Senger, age 58 of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his home.

Tony Wendlin Senger Jr. was born on February 8, 1966, in Grand Forks, ND the son of Tony and Ann (Nefs) Senger.  Tony grew up in East Grand Forks, MN and attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, graduating with the Class of 1984.  Tony was active in sports, band, choir, altar serving and giving the nuns grief.  Following graduation, he attended Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Detroit Lakes, MN where he was enrolled in the Marine Mechanic's Program.  He moved to Rockford IL and worked as a mechanic before getting a dream job to work for Mercury Marine.  In 1988 he returned to East Grand Forks to be close to family. Tony proudly served over 30 years with BNSF Railway as a locomotive engineer.  Tony was first married to Brenda Peterson with whom he had two beautiful and smart daughters, Alexandra and Jordan. On August 15, 2018, Tony was united in marriage to Rachel Lee, with whom he shared his remaining years.

Tony is survived by his wife Rachel Senger of Grand Forks, ND; children, Alexandra (Nico) Gasparini of Grand Forks, ND and Jordan Senger (Derek Shannon) of Grand Forks, ND.  Rachel's children Leah Anderson and Ariel Anderson both of Fosston, MN, Aletta Anderson-Nelson of Park Rapids, MN and Krister Anderson of Montana; siblings, Michael Senger of Mentor, MN and Mary Senger of Moorhead, MN.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3rd St. NW, East Grand Forks, MN.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the Mass on Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
