Wilford "Willie" Hillebrand, 75, of Grand Forks, ND died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at his home.

Willie Hillebrand was born January 25, 1944 in McVille, ND the son of Louis and Alice (Biss) Hillebrand. He grew up in rural Aneta, ND and graduated from Aneta High School. He farmed with this dad and worked at the Aneta Co-op for a number of years. He married Carol Smallbeck in Aneta, ND on July 11, 1965. He worked for American Crystal Sugar, East Grand Forks. He married Vicky Erickson in Grand Forks on September 7, 1991. He worked for the Burlington Northern Rail Road until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Vicky of Grand Forks, children, Marc (Jody) Hillebrand of Phoenix, AZ, Sarah (Joel) Scharf of Big Lake, MN, Lisa (Dwight) Arens of Grand Forks and Jeff Hillebrand of Bismarck, ND, 5 grandchildren, Ben, Zack, Allison, Andy and Mackenzie, 2 great grandchildren, Ryder and Stella, 2 sisters, Yvonne (Sanford) Hoge of Aneta, ND, Barbara (James) Dahl of Northwood, ND, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Anna Marie Smaaland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
