William Schuman, 80, of Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, December 18, 2021 at home.

Bill Schuman was born March 24, 1941 in Wakefield, Michigan  the son of Robert and Cora (Post) Schuman.  He grew up in Grand Forks, ND and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1959.  He worked at Hoffman's Clothiers, White Drug, Robertson Lumber, Vern's Refuge, and Waste Management.  He married Carol Akason Jorde in Grand Forks, ND on June 16, 1979.

He is survived by children, Dan (Darla) Schuman of Grand Forks, ND, and Wendy Taylor of Sour Lake, TX; Christeen (David) Walz of Jamestown, ND, Richard (Jennifer) Jorde of Grand Forks, and Sandra (John) Mesa of East Grand Forks, MN, 5 grandchildren, Meaghann (Michael) Krause, Michael Ash, Matthew Mesa, Cody Ash, Amanda (Zack) Jarman and 4 great grandchildren; sister Donna Magnuson of Grand Forks, ND and brother Richard (Kim) Schuman of Brainerd, MN.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol and brother Raymond Schuman.
